Job Summary

Would you like to apply your skills in an innovative production facility? If so, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Utility Operator! This position will be based out of our New Automated Injection Molding plant located in Pineville, NC. Reporting to Shift Supervisor, the successful candidate will execute standard utility services within the injection molding department that will include but not be limited to standard housekeeping duties, 5S projects, and serving as a back-up operator as needed by Supervision. These activities are to be conducted while ensuring and maximizing safety, product quality, production output, housekeeping, and cost control to achieve plant goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate and directing others on projects.
• General housekeeping duties to include cleaning and changing/replacing filters to include in-line water filters for molding presses and 5s projects.
• Basic Carpentry, ability to use basic power tools including: jig saw, skill saw, etc. Expert with measuring instruments, measuring tapes, caliper, etc.
• Preform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 18 years of age
• A high school degree or equivalent is required with the ability to read, write, and do basic math
• 1+ years of Forklift Certified experience
• Successful candidate must complete pre-employment requirements

Working conditions

• Requires a high degree of mobility and involves considerable routine walking, standing for long periods, reaching, twisting, bending, climbing, and lifting to 50-75 lbs.
• Fast-paced environment where a considerable amount of sensory attention is required.
• Personal safety is affected by exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise levels and the use of sharp tools.
