Utility Technician - Career Growth Potential

This role is collaborative and hands on. It's a great foot in the door with a reputable client for a year long contract position!

*This role has rotating shifts with overtime. The schedule is Monday through Thursday 5AM - 5 PM and will rotate the following week to 5PM - 5AM*

Responsibilities:

• Skilled in operating an automated reactor cleaning system (RCS)
• Comfortable with hand tools such as pipe wrenches, knives, scrapers, files, thief sampler, etc.
• Install, inspect, and maintain utility systems and equipment, including electrical panels, water heaters, HVAC units, and gas lines.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with utility systems and equipment.
• Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and supervisors to coordinate work efforts.

Requirements:

• At least two years in the chemical field preferred
• Able to lift 50 pounds, go up and down stairs, and be able to enter a reactor and clean it (not claustrophobic)
• Able to utilize computer systems and pull reports / data
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
