Pay Rate: $42.02/hr.

This is a remote role – strong preference to EST/CST candidates

Job Description/Responsibilities:

In this role as a UX Designer, you will be a part of the UX Product Management team supporting the UX strategy through innovative, accessible, mobile first designs. You’ll play a crucial role in creating visually appealing and use-centric designs for SC.com and SC app. With passion for good interaction and visual design, you can help craft end-to-end experiences to enact cutting-edge digital strategies.

You will design intuitive UI solutions, create elegant assets, and implement the interface using your knowledge in visual design and user experience. You’ll test your interaction designs with real world users to learn and iterate while ensuring business goals and customer needs are met. Whether it’s using design thinking techniques to drive ideation and alignment or bringing a paper prototype to your user for a quick experiment, you can identify and execute the right steps towards solving a problem.

• Collaborate with the broader product team, designers, developers, to analytics to create produce designs and optimize the user experience for existing digital features and new initiatives.
• Leverage user behavior, usage metrics and usability findings to create user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes user-centered designs.
• Contribute to the development of intuitive user experiences by participating in design discussions and ideation sessions.
• Solicit feedback from peers and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the design lifecycle.
• Gracefully articulate and defend design decisions to peers, stakeholders and leaders.
• Assist in maintaining design guidelines and standards to ensure consistency across various projects.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of visual and interaction design experience (OR a degree in HCI, Information Architecture, Digital Design, or similar and 3+ years of experience in visual and graphic designs).
• Have a portfolio showcasing your UI designs and UX skills.
• Have eCommerce experience designing for the user shopping journey.
• Expertise with design and collaboration tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards to create inclusive interactions and deliverables.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to pivot and taking a hands-on approach to bring a fresh perspective and positive attitude.
• Awareness of data and research methodologies.
• Experience designing for iOS and Android mobile applications.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Optimizely, Apptimize and/or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
• Knowledge of CSS, HTML, JavaScript and responsive design principles.
• Experience with JIRA and ServiceNOW workflow management applications.
