Job Description - UX Researcher - Research Operations

Aquent has an EXCITING opportunity for a UX Researcher in the Puget Sound, WA area!

This is a HYBRID role - it will be expected you can be on-site at least twice a month. We will only consider candidates that live in or can commute to Puget Sound.

In addition, to be considered for this role, you MUST:
Be authorized to work in the United States, and not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment.
Be able to showcase your work through case studies and/or portfolio.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Align research goals with decision makers
Determine and executing the research plan to include the tools and methods to achieve the goal.
Share the findings and suggested actions to take
Collaborate across disciplines with UX Researchers, UX Designers, Data Science, Program and Product Managers, Marketers, and/or Engineers to ensure that we're addressing priority business objectives with each study.
Create research plans that leverage existing data.
Create clarity of study purpose through scoping, alignment with stakeholders, and their priorities.
Define study approaches and collaborate with others to determine the research plan.
Demonstrating the ability to generate insights about how user contexts, constraints, and complex systems that may be impacting the user experience or the user's ability to achieve their goals.
Help derive study insights and suggest the possible actions the stakeholders may consider, alongside other qualitative and quantitative data and insights.
Schedule research requests. Working with requesting stakeholders and customers who sign up or qualify for research studies.
Coordinate and manage internal customer panels. Using external and internal tools to screen and invite participants to applicable studies.
Manage participant gratuity fulfillment for applicable studies.
Store applicable study participant meeting recordings and transcripts

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
5-7 years of research study project coordination, participant screening, and scheduling
5-7 years of hands-on User Experience Research and/or product development experience or related experience in research.
5-7 years of hands-on experience with research methods and supporting tools to impact both product direction and detailed experience design.
5-7 years of demonstrated skills collecting, coding, and analyzing human behavioral data to improve decision making and UX in a technology industry setting.
Experience with UserTesting.com, PlaybookUX, Recollective, and/or Microsoft Greenroom
Familiarity with products leveraging AI and large language models (LLMs)
Experience in survey design and analysis as well as preparing study report-outs in stakeholder requested formats including PowerPoint, Word, or Outlook.
Storytelling skills to communicate customer experiences that highlight user pain points and delighters that have impact on our products, services, and business success.
Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to details and processes
