Vacuum Bells Operator - 2nd Shift

The Vacuum Bell Operator will operate multiple vacuum chambers, including all moves in and out, electrical connections, thermocouple placement, etc. In this function, you will: Analyzes input data from the computer for the bell cycle and determines if adjustments are required to allow for proper heating and vacuum process cycles to occur. Determines the run sequence and load per bell, based on unit specification and bell capabilities, to maximize throughput. Moves transformer to vacuum chamber for drying. Makes electrical connection for drying cycle per engineering instructions. Determines if units are sufficiently dry based on unit criteria and blip levels. Fills tanks to required level and checks for leaks. Unloads units, preps for final test, and moves to final test queuing area. Loads and unloads the pre-heater Use cranes, material handling equipment, and small hand tools High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution is required. No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Requires the ability to climb a 15-foot vertical ladder to check for foaming, oil level, etc. with or without reasonable accommodations. Knowledge of standard shop specifications (drawings, blueprints, process sheets, etc.) Ability to work overtime when required. Ability to lift up to 50 LBS; bend, twist, grab, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
