Job Description - Valet

Job Summary

We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Valet to join our team. As a Valet, you will primarily assist our guests by carefully parking and retrieving their vehicles. Your responsibilities will also include warmly greeting guests as they arrive, loading and unloading luggage, directing traffic, and safely operating a variety of vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions. Key Responsibilities

· Provide professional, courteous and compassionate guest services for guest while meeting the IHG Standard and Hotel Guidelines

· Proactively approach, greet and acknowledge all customer in a friendly, professional manner and provide quick, responsive customer service

· Park and retrieve vehicles with care

· Immediately secure keys and able to run fast to retrieve cars

· Work closely and assist other teams at the Hotel as needed

Requirements

· Must be at least 18 years of age

· Possess valid driver license with Motor Vehicle Records (“MVR”) meeting Hotel’s guideline

· Strictly adhere to the time clock rules by clocking in and out according to the scheduled work hours, including during meal breaks.

· Ability to operate a standard and automatic transmission, if required

· Ability to stand continuously and perform job functions for a full shift

· Ability to work in an environment that is not necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes with exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid or windy weather conditions for a long periods of time

· Must be able to speak, read and write Standard English

· Integrity and accountability, and respectful to others

· Ability to work in a flexible schedule
