DESCRIPTION

Valet Attendant at Museum District Houston, TX

Valet Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. The Valet Attendant is responsible for parking and retrieving guest vehicles in a prompt yet safe manner and assisting guests with the door, including helping gentlemen with Jackets and ladies with their dresses during arrival and departure.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all Sovereign Services of Houston client’s guests

• Acknowledges and greets Our client’s guests within six feet with a professional and friendly demeanor

• Uses salutation of the day and welcomes Our client’s guests to the location

• Posts up in designated areas when not completing tasks

• Runs at top speed to park and retrieve vehicles and drives slowly and cautiously returning the vehicle

• Assists guests with directions and information as needed

• Opens all vehicle and Museum doors for guests

• Assists guests with directions and uber/lift

• Provides guests with information about outlets, and/or amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area

• Delivers messages, items, and/or guest amenities as requested

• Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

• No visible tattoos or be able to cover them up

• Perform parallel parking

• Must have and maintain a valid driver license and clean driving record

• For insurance purposes, must be at least 18 years of age and be able to pass a criminal background and drug screen

 Language Skills

• Must be able to communicate the standard English language

• Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

• Must be able to write simple correspondence

• Must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and other employees of the organization

 SALARY: $10.00 to $12.00 average hourly wage (This is an Avg. Hourly Rate composed by a set hourly wage of $10.00/hr. plus cash tips)

PART-TIME / FULL-TIME PM SHIFT

Requirements for Valet Driver:

• Clean background Checks,


• Honest, trustworthy, self-motivated


• Ability to drive a wide variety of vehicles


• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time


• Outstanding attention to detail


• Scheduling flexibility needed (available for days, evenings, or weekends)


• Must be at least 18 years of age.
