Job Title: Validation & Test Technician, Electronic
Compensation: $25 - 27 - 30+/HR (Based upon experience + education)
Shifts Available: Days and Nights schedules available
Job Status: Contract to Direct Hire
Location: Philadelphia PA - 100% Onsite
Validation & Test Technician work responsibilities 'At-a-Glance':
- Support the validation and electrical and mechanical testing for high speed trains
- Electronic and mechanical software troubleshoot and correct issues
- Will perform bench-top testing for new or repair components, devices, etc...
- Test cases to validate electronics and product designs
- Use of tools and instrumentations for dose, traction breaks testing
- Will provide feedback and offer technical solutions
- Interface with Engineers and other team members
- Document and report data into computer software programs
- Follow company and industrial safety protocols and best practices
Required Skills, Education, and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years' experience of electronic validation and testing
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Team-player mentality and work in a fast-paced environment
- Microsoft ie: Excel / Power Point / Word or similar software programs
Preferred Work Skills, Education, and Qualifications:
- AS Degree in a technical field is preferred
- BS Degree in a technical field is a plus
