A Value Stream Manager role is available with our client in Creedmoor, NC. This is a direct hire opportunity with one of our aerospace clients.

As a Value Stream Director (Mechanical Systems), you will:
Direct a team of program leaders and matrixed Value Stream functional leaders ensuring company"s financial objectives are achieved, and customers are aligned.
Oversee the creation and maintenance of product and program strategies, ensuring they meet or exceed program expectations.
Establish and nurture customer relationships to deliver exceptional support.
Contribute to site policy and direction as a member of the Senior Management Team.
Collaborate with Revenue Management to set pricing policy, implementation strategy, and governance.
Ensure compliance with applicable OEM and End User Agreements, including pricing and lead time performance.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including supply chain and operations, to develop strategies in support of operational excellence.
Coordinate with Engineering team to set project priorities to ensure customer needs are met.
Manage and maintain the forecasting process to optimize sales/inventory levels.
Ensure revenue forecasting is accurate and corresponds to sales pipeline and lead times.
Monitor and analyze competitive threats as part of an iterative process to manage strategy, production schedule. and tactics for best results.
Foster a culture that prioritizes safety and quality.
Coach and develop staff in achievement of team sales and customer service goals.
Will exercise independent judgment and discretion in the performance of duties while obtaining consensus or buy-in from stakeholders on issues impacting multiple departments.

Requirements:
Bachelor"s degree.
In lieu of a degree, 10+ years" relevant experience is acceptable.
Strong experience in program/product management.
Deep knowledge of aerospace OE/aftermarket business practices, selling, pricing, negotiation, and awareness of cost accounting practices.
