Value Stream Manager

Eaton\u2019s ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a Value Stream Manager. This role is onsite at our Washington, PA facility. Relocation is not provided for this position. \n\nWashington, PA is the home of the Eaton Crouse-Hinds commercial outlet box facility which manufactures steel boxes, covers, and prefabricated electrical assemblies. Manufacturing 1.3 million units per week, this highly automated and fast paced environment places a high value on talented professionals that are focus on problem solving and efficiency.\n\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nEaton is seeking a Value Stream Manager to lead the Ruff-IN value stream for a highly complex engineered to order (ETO) product line. This role owns safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity results while developing a high performing team of supervisors and hourly employees. You will coordinate closely with Engineering, Planning, Supply Chain, and Quality to ensure reliable flow, rapid issue resolution, and world class customer delivery performance.\n\nIn this role you will:\n\nOwn the Value Stream\n\n * Build and maintain current state and future state value stream maps for Ruff-IN across fabrication, kitting, assembly, inspection, and material handling.\n * Establish the management system (tier meetings, visual KPIs, daily accountability) to drive performance and problem solving.\n\n\n\nDeliver Results (SQDIP)\n\n * Achieve targets for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity.\n * Own the cost structure for the value stream, including scrap, rework, overtime, and conversion cost.\n * Plan Capacity \u0026 Sequence Work\n * Collaborate with Planning and the Product Line on capacity modeling, constraints, and load leveling for high mix/low volume demand.\n * Manage daily/weekly sequencing to protect bottlenecks.\n * Deliver on commitments to maintain strong service levels. \n\n\n\nLean \u0026 Continuous Improvement\n\n * Deploy Lean tools (A3/8D, standard work, 5S, visual management) to remove waste and variability.\n * Run CI events that reduce lead time, setup, touch time, and queue time; sustain gains with standard work and layered process audits.\n\n\n\nDevelop People \u0026 Culture\n\n * Coach shift supervisors and hourly teams; build skills in problem solving, standard work, and accountability.\n * Lead staffing, training matrices, cross training, engagement, recognition, and performance management.\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBasic (Required) Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited institution.\n * Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment\n * Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
