What You'll Do

Design, install, and program sophisticated DC electrical systems from 12V/24V/48V architectures. Configure Victron MultiPlus inverter/chargers, program Wakespeed alternator regulators, integrate solar MPPT controllers, and commission battery management systems. Troubleshoot system interactions, optimize power, and ensure seamless operation of habitat-side electrical systems. You'll work on everything from simple lithium setups to complex systems with multiple charging sources and output requirements.

Who We Need

This is a specialized career opportunity requiring DC systems expertise. We're open to people with a range of experience - from specialists looking to transition from other specialist work, to experienced van conversion electricians ready for more complex systems.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has DC electrical experience in marine, RV, solar, or automotive applications
• Hands-on expertise with Victron Energy systems, solar installations, battery management, and/or vehicle charging systems
• Programming skills for configuring charge controllers, inverters, and communication protocols (such as VE.Bus, CAN, NMEA2000)
• Diagnostic abilities using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and system monitoring software
• Systems thinking to integrate multiple technologies into cohesive, reliable power platforms
• Problem-solving passion for troubleshooting complex electrical interactions

Highly Valued:

• Solar certification or marine electrical certification
• Experience with alternator regulators, LiFePo4 battery systems
• Military electrical training or formal electrical education
