Web Security Administrator


Under limited supervision, performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of the organization's website and transactions across the internet


Applies Internet firewall technologies to maintain security


Ensures that the user community understands and adheres to necessary procedures to maintain security


Qualifications

Expert knowledge of distributed system security software and web based technology


Expert knowledge of encryption, firewall and access control technology and software


Education and Experience:


Associate's degree and 3 plus years’ experience or equivalent


 


Web Software Developer


Designs, develops, troubleshoots, debugs, and implements software code (such as HTML, XML, CGI, Java scripts, etc.) for a component of the website


Works with graphic designers and other members of a project team to develop the site concept, interface design, and architecture of the website


Responsible for the interface implementation


Complex knowledge and utilization of one or more word processing tools

Senior Business Systems Analyst


Manages the integration and communications among applications, databases and technology platforms

Makes decisions based on documented business opportunities, benefits, risks, and success factors of potential applications


Has budget to make decisions based on documented STC Customer needs and associated requirements


May manage a portfolio of developments with implication to cost reduction initiatives


Analyzes a variety of work processes and associated document and information flow for strategic recommendation to leadership


Oversees group that defines and implements new or enhanced applications into a production environment

Infrastructure Architect


Ensures implementation of hardware and software meets the company's technology infrastructure design and architecture


Major Duties and Responsibilities


Ensure STC Customer’s infrastructure architecture for wide area, campus, and local area networks is adhered to


Defines requirements for products that support applications and the infrastructure


Manages process to ensure product release, applications, and corporate block point cycles are synchronized


Provides interface for strategy and direction with technology providers


Evaluates emerging technologies and standards for impact on STC Customer


Plans and executes software and hardware platform changes


Manages network management architecture activities


Performs technology benchmarking


Follows corporate level guideline documentation and provides input on their upkeep


Education and/or Training


Undergraduate degree required in math, computer science, engineering, or related discipline with an information technology focus (preferred)


MBA or advanced degree in MIS or Computer Science preferred


 


Database Administrator


Assesses future information requirements in order to develop long-range, comprehensive database plans


Develops policies and procedures designed to ensure the integrity of the database environment


Develops and maintains routines to facilitate database use


Keeps informed on latest developments in the database management field


Plans and coordinates migration to new data management system software levels


Assures that appropriate database management software is available and effectively used


Determines, implements, and enhances standards on database security
