Westaff is seeking associates for our client in Amherst NH to fill various roles related to mold machines!

All shifts available!

1st shift: 5:30am - 3pm

2nd shift: 3:15pm - 12:45am

3rd shift: 10:30pm - 5:30am

Our client is looking for a 1 shift Inspector! The ideal candidate will be able to:

• Inspect various rubber molds a day for defects


• Report any discrepancies and issues to floor supervisor


• Communicate effectively with supervisors and managers


• Read schematics


• Follow verbal and written directions

Our client is looking for a 2nd shift Molder Machine Operator! The ideal candidate will be able to:

• Use hydraulic press to produce product.


• Maintain quality awareness of raw materials. Hand eye coordination and basic mechanical aptitude.


• Material handling of components, finished parts, and supplies


• Inspecting the parts being produced using approved methods. Lifting up to 40 lbs on occasion.


• Informing Group Leader of bad quality molds and other production problems


• Complete daily production work.


• Keeping all work areas clean, neat and safe. Standing work environment.

Previous machine operator and production work experience preferred.

Our client is looking for 2nd and 3rd shift Preform Machine Operators! The ideal candidate will be able to:

• Make adjustments to controls for heat, pad pressure, ram pressure and time as referenced per work instruction; or, by issuing temporary ECNs.
  


• Perform a variety of hand and machine operations to load, unload and operate single stage, single or multiple cavity hydraulic compression presses to shape and imprint patterns fabric materials. Make necessary visual parts inspections.
  


• Have first and subsequent pieces inspected. Visually check parts prior to and at completion of machine or hand operations. Separate bad or questionable rejects.
  


• Count, identify, box, pack or stack completed work or items to be further processed and move to holding area.
  


• Perform various hand operations to trim excess materials.
  


• As required or as necessitated by work loads or (un)availability of personnel operate clicker machine or fabric cutter operation.
  


• Complete work sheets and work travellers, note job and job number, times worked, machines used, number of items completed, reject counts and other information. Move materials as necessary in the performance of duties or as directed. Detect and report improper operation of faulty equipment and questionable conditions to the supervisor. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, safe and orderly condition. Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations. Maintain quality standards.
  


• Perform other related duties as directed.

Training provided on 2nd shift. Previous experience with machines or quality control preferred.
