Vascular Sonographer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology to assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of patients. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as proficiency in sonography techniques. The Sonographer will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results.

We are a fast-paced, growing heart and vascular clinic seeking a Sonographer. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented with a strong ability to multi-task. As a Sonographer you will complete all functions necessary in performing quality echocardiograms, stress echoes, and vascular studies.

Essential Functions of the Role:

• Able to provide direct patient care to patients in both the stable and acute care settings.
• Works with general supervision, structuring own work patterns within a general outline.
• Responsible for reporting interpretations to physicians when completed.
• Referring unusual situations or problems to physician/supervisor
• Ability to accurately calculate in apothecary and metric systems for drug administration and document clinical information.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or G.E.D
• Current ARDMS or CCI or registry eligible and pass registry within one year of the date of hire
• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
• A valid driver’s license
• BCLS Certification

Desired Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in the Cardiology field
• One (1) years’ experience preferred as an ultrasound technologist. Cardiology experience preferred
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Deadline and detail-oriented

Work Environment
This position is a clinical position and will report to the office Monday- Friday from 6:30 am – 5:00 PM.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
