Position Summary

Gateway Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to join our Radiology department.

In this role, you will perform specialized non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations to support the diagnosis and treatment of circulatory conditions. You will use advanced ultrasound technology to evaluate arteries and veins while delivering exceptional patient care and collaborating closely with providers and the healthcare team.

What You'll Do

• Perform non-invasive vascular ultrasound procedures and obtain diagnostic-quality images


• Evaluate vascular structures including arterial and venous systems


• Support physicians in diagnosing vascular conditions such as occlusions, aneurysms, and circulatory abnormalities


• Ensure accurate documentation and timely communication of findings


• Maintain patient comfort, safety, and education throughout the imaging process


• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment according to departmental standards


• Collaborate with radiologists, providers, and interdisciplinary care teams

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Sonography program

Licensure & Certifications

Required:

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through ARDMS or


• Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) through CCI


• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or American Red Cross

Preferred:

• One to two years of sonography experience with vascular registry

Compensation

$32.38–$48.58 per hour

Compensation is determined based on education, years of experience, certifications, and relevant skills. Final compensation will be reviewed through our compensation process to ensure fairness, internal equity, and alignment with qualifications.
