Vault Manager - Kalispell

Description

Grizzly Security Armored Express is seeking a Vault Manager to be based out of Kalispell, MT. The Vault Manager will oversee vaults in multiple locations, prepare daily, weekly and monthly audits, manage vault balancing and ordering of vault supplies as well as coordinate routine and emergency maintenance. This position will also act as a representative to the Helena branch of the Federal Reserve Bank.

Responsibilities

· Provide first line management to vault employees in multiple locations.

· Oversee daily vault operations including but not limited to time management, inventory management, opening and closing of branch and vault check in/out.

· Conduct audits of multiple cash and coin vaults across the state. These will be done remotely and in person.

· Maintain and provide quality customer service and good communication with the customer base.

· Responsible for departments accurate and efficient work productivity (processing, pack-out, ect.)

· Manage various functions/activities to meet specific goals.

· Responsible for interviewing, processing, and training of employees.

· Devises cross-training matrix that provides adequate backup for all positions.

· Masters’ money manager system and is proficient in the knowledge of cash/coin room task and procedure.

· Views daily activities to identify process improvement opportunities.

· Reports serious operational problems to senior leadership.

· Ensure activities are performed in compliance with company policies and procedures as well as state and federal laws and regulations.

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

· BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

· Minimum five years of experience in cash processing or banking.

· Excellent mathematical, verbal and comprehensive skills required.

· Experience working in a fast paced, repetitive process and secure productions environment required.

· Ability to take ownership of issues, breakdown barriers and make decision required.

· Multi-task oriented, organized and have the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.

· Must be able to bend, stoop and stand for long periods of time.

· Ability to influence and lead a remote workforce.

· Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; may lift and/or move additional weight with assistance.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and aptitude for learning new computer systems.

· Good ethics and integrity.
