Position Overview:
The Estimator is responsible for providing accurate cost estimates and projections for all phases of construction projects, including scheduling and budgeting. The role requires a comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, cost estimation techniques, and current market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop cost estimates for all phases of construction projects.
Analyze construction plans, specifications, proposals, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Provide technical advice on project specifications to ensure contract compliance and quality.
Develop detailed plans, schedules, and timelines.
Conduct on-site visits to assess progress and review changes to plans.
Keep detailed records of all cost estimates.
Monitor project costs and provide updates to management.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
2+ years of experience in construction estimating.
Strong knowledge of Project Manager, Concrete, and Construction.
Parking Structure, multi-story parking structures, Mixed Use, Hospitality, Office, Retail.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
