We pride ourselves on our dynamic team and innovative approach to the automotive industry. We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join our team. 

 As a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in expanding our vehicle inventory by prospecting, appraising, and acquiring pre-owned vehicles. You will utilize your knowledge of the automotive market and negotiation skills to identify potential acquisition opportunities and ensure the best value for our dealership. 

Compensation: $23/hour + Bonuses 

 Responsibilities: 

• Prospecting: Identify and contact potential vehicle sellers, including private individuals, internal clients and other sources. 
• Appraisal: Conduct thorough inspections and appraisals of vehicles to determine their condition, market value, and suitability for resale. 
• Negotiation: Negotiate purchase prices with sellers to acquire vehicles at the best possible value. 
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about current market trends, vehicle values, and industry developments to make informed acquisition decisions. 
• Documentation: Handle all necessary paperwork and documentation related to vehicle acquisitions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. 
• Relationship Building: Develop and maintain positive relationships with sellers and potential partners to facilitate future acquisitions. 

Qualifications: 

• Proven experience in vehicle acquisition, sales, or a related field within the automotive industry. 
• Strong knowledge of vehicle makes, models, market values, and appraisal techniques (is a plus) 
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Proficiency in using appraisal tools and software. 
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. 
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in automotive technology or business is a plus
