We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment / Vehicle Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and assembling various types of equipment, machinery & company vehicles. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Duties:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery & vehicles, including but not limited to Caterpillar & Komatsu machinery

- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues

- Weld and fabricate components as needed

- Assemble new equipment according to specifications

- Utilize hand tools and electrical equipment for repairs and maintenance

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition

- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed

- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete projects efficiently

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Equipment Technician or similar role

- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

- Proficient in welding and assembly techniques

- Knowledge of hand tools and electrical equipment used in equipment repair

- Familiarity with Caterpillar & Komatsu machinery is preferred

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

- Excellent problem-solving skills

- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship

Compensation: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
