Vehicle Operator/ Driver

This position is ideal for individuals with strong driving experience, excellent situational awareness, and a desire to work closely with engineers to help shape the future of transportation.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate development vehicles on a variety of roadways while maintaining a high standard of safety inside and outside the vehicle.
• Consistently demonstrate situational awareness and adapt to changing environments and technology.
• Conduct data collection using proprietary software and hardware, providing clear and timely feedback to engineering teams.
• Act as an ambassador for the technology, maintaining professionalism when interacting with management, engineers, and the public.
• Mentor and train other operators while supporting a culture of safety and collaboration.
• Maintain, organize, and distribute operational documentation to team members.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 1–2 years of professional driving (5+ hours/day), or previous autonomous testing experience.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field (or equivalent experience) with strong analytical, communication, and reasoning skills.
• Skills:
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with 7+ years of driving experience and a clean record (DMV check required).
• Strong computer proficiency, including troubleshooting and working with proprietary tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to remain focused and make sound judgments in fast-paced, high-stress environments.
• Comfort driving in all weather conditions, including snow.
• Other Requirements: Subject to pre-employment drug screening, DMV and criminal background checks, and random drug testing.

Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday - 8-4:30PM or 3pm-12AM
