Vehicle Processing Supervisor

Merchants Automotive Group is looking for a Vehicle Processing Supervisor to lead and support our Vehicle Processing team. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll oversee daily operations, guide a diverse team, and help drive efficient vehicle reconditioning from intake to completion. You’ll play a key role in decision-making around maintenance, body work, and cycle times—ensuring vehicles are processed quickly, safely, and to the highest standards.

Location: Merchants Auto – Manchester, NH vehicle storage lot located near MHT Airport (This role requires outdoor work year-round.)

What You’ll Do

• Lead and supervise a team of full-time, part-time, on-demand, and contracted employees.


• Act as a technical resource for vehicle processing operations and best practices.


• Train team members on proper use of equipment, materials, and processes.


• Support employee onboarding, offboarding, performance evaluations, and development.


• Handle escalations and serve as a key point of contact within the department.


• Monitor and improve reconditioning cycle times to meet departmental goals.


• Drive effective inventory management and operational decision-making.


• Collaborate cross-functionally to support overall business objectives.


• Recommend process improvements and contribute to operational strategy.


• Assist in developing and implementing procedures, policies, and performance standards.


• Step in for the Vehicle Processing Department Manager when needed.


• Perform additional duties to support department success.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience in logistics or operations (supervisory experience preferred).


• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and support a team.


• Strong communication skills and ability to work with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.


• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.


• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.


• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.


• Innovative thinking with a willingness to improve processes and drive change.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and MS Office Suite.


• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and remain on your feet for extended periods.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid U.S. driver's license and an acceptable driving record at time of hire.


• Must continue to keep a satisfactory driving record, as determined by Merchants, and remain eligible to be insured by the company’s vehicle insurance carrier. Employee must cooperate in completing any required authorizations or paperwork for regular motor vehicle checks.

Education

• High School Diploma required


• Some college coursework preferred
