Vehicle Registration Specialist
Overview
The Vehicle Registration Specialist is responsible for processing vehicle registrations for customers, assisting with registration-related questions, and supporting the Vehicle Registration Supervisor with daily department tasks. This position helps ensure customer documents, payments, emails, voicemails, and follow-ups are handled accurately, professionally, and on time.
This role also supports the vehicle registration process by reviewing documents for accuracy, communicating with customers regarding missing information or registration status, scanning and sending required information to the Fees Specialist, and helping the department complete daily work efficiently.
Key Functions & Responsibilities
• Receive incoming calls from customers with vehicle registration questions
• Respond to customer emails and voicemails regarding vehicle registrations
• Receive and process vehicle registration payments and documents
• Review vehicle registration documents to ensure all required information is complete and accurate
• Communicate with customers by phone or email regarding missing documentation, registration status, or registration-related issues
• Provide clear follow-up and updates to customers throughout the registration process
• Scan and send necessary registration-related information to the Fees Specialist
• Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation related to vehicle registration transactions
• Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, and other administrative tasks related to vehicle registrations
• Support the Vehicle Registration Supervisor with daily department needs
• Assist customers professionally by phone, email, and other approved communication channels
• Report registration issues, customer concerns, or process-related problems to management as needed
• Complete additional projects and duties as assigned by management

Preferred Experience
• Previous experience in vehicle registration, title processing, DMV-related work, customer service, or administrative support
• Experience handling customer calls, emails, documents, payments, or follow-ups
• Experience with filing, scanning, data entry, or document review
• Prior experience in a detail-focused office or customer-facing environment is a plus

Full-time position
Pay Range
$17.00 – $20.00 per hour, depending on experience
Note: This is an on-site vehicle registration support position. This role supports vehicle registration processing, customer communication, document review, payment processing, and daily department tasks.
