Join an innovative mobility technology company as a Vehicle Technician and be at the forefront of the future of transportation. In this role, you’ll serve as a frontline technical expert, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a state-of-the-art fleet of autonomous vehicles (AVs).
The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in automotive systems—mechanical, electrical, and software—along with experience working on AV-specific hardware such as LiDAR, cameras, radars, and embedded compute systems. You’ll work closely with engineering, operations, and remote support teams to ensure vehicles remain safe, reliable, and deployment-ready.
What You’ll Do
Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and scheduled maintenance on AVs, including ADAS sensors and vehicle systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and computer-based issues using OEM tools and proprietary diagnostic platforms.
Respond quickly to faults or alerts, resolving issues or coordinating recovery operations.
Support hardware/software retrofits, sensor calibrations, and updates in collaboration with engineering teams.
Document all work performed, including fault logs, resolutions, parts usage, and vehicle downtime.
Ensure vehicles are always show-ready for demos, testing, and deployments.
Uphold strict health and safety standards, following risk assessments and safe work procedures.
Provide on-site and remote field support when needed.
What We’re Looking For
3–5+ years of automotive technician experience, or equivalent vocational/technical training.
Strong skills diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and embedded systems (CAN bus, HV systems, sensors).
Comfortable working with EVs and hybrid drive systems, including high-voltage safety practices.
Hands-on experience with AV hardware: LiDAR, radar, cameras, and embedded modules.
ASE or OEM technician certifications (preferred).
Exposure to Linux-based systems, sensor calibration, or R&D fleet operations a plus.
Proficiency with diagnostic software, Google Suite, JIRA, and database logging.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating across engineering and operations teams.
Safety-first mindset with knowledge of OSHA or equivalent workplace standards.
