Vending Service Technician

POSITION SUMMARY

Set up new equipment and maintain the units through regular servicing work and repairs in the market.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Set up new equipment in the market.

Follow up maintenance check-up to be sure equipment is working correctly.

Check and make sure that correct flavors and/or drinks are in machine.

Repair broken equipment on location.

Ask questions to determine if customer is satisfied with equipment.

Vehicle maintenance.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Work well with others in a team-orientated atmosphere.

Other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

18 years or older.

High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license.

Insurable 10-year driving record.

Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math.

Provide your own small hand tools including screwdrivers, wrenches and plyers.

Must possess thorough understanding of MEM process and procedures.

ABILITIES

Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.

Review and adhere to all Pee Dee Food Service policies, including safety.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and multi-tasking skills.

Must be self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision.

Analytical and problem-solving skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

Must be physically and mentally able to successfully perform the essential elements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

The ability to hear, talk, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds.

Vision requirements to do this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

This position requires sitting most of the time during the shift.
