Job Description - Vendor Managed Inventory/Delivery Driver

Job Summary: The Delivery Driver will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of industrial products to our clients. This role involves operating a box truck, managing inventory levels at client sites through Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) systems, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Operations:
- Safely operate a box truck to deliver industrial products to various client locations.
- Load and unload products, ensuring accurate delivery of items.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures.

Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI):
- Monitor and manage inventory levels at client sites using VMI systems.
- Replenish stock as needed, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and report discrepancies.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Minimum of six months of driving and warehouse operations experience.

Possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record. Class CDL is a plus but not required.

Driving history must meet and maintain qualifications for the corporate safety program.

Ability to perform basic math calculations, and interpret road maps.

Ability to effectively communicate with customers/peers/supervisors.

Attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.

Ability to maintain a good working relationship with co-workers, supervisors, management, and various personnel.

Must be able to pass a drug test.

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
