Vendor Support Representative

Location: Chatsworth, CA

Day to Day responsibilities:

• Handle all client requests, complaints and inquiries like an experienced expert customer service rep would do
• Work with sales to give quotes on products.- Sales experience of 2+ years preferred.
• Works with contracts teams to help negotiate or facilitate pricing and long-term agreements.
• Partners with purchasing to expedite orders being placed and sent.
• Inventory control and management
• Coordinate with finance to release POs and ensure payments are made and collected on time.
• Direct customer account assigned (Each VMI rep has their own account assigned)
• Heavy data entry on SAP and Excel
• Must be great at Excel.
• SAP knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Aerospace fastener experience preferred- If candidates have everything else this may be negotiable.

Skills and Qualification Requirements:

• Possesses excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrates outstanding verbal and written communication skills and effectively communicates with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and knows SAP system (highly preferred)
• Committed to excellence and high standards
• Has strong organizational skills, capable of managing workflow and priorities
• Able to work independently and as a part of teams or committees
• Follows written and verbal instructions effectively
• Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor

Experience:

• Possesses at least 2 years of experience in Customer Service, preferred
• Has extensive experience with corrective action program implementation
• Aerospace fastener experience: 0-3 years
• Intermediate Excel skills
