Venue Marketing Manager

BLOC Coffee Company is part of BLOC Ministries which is an inner city ministry. Our mission exists to build relationships with our neighbors and share hope in brokenness. We target neighborhoods that are underserved. We have a staff size of about 45 where we have after school programs, sports performance center, houses for women in sex trafficking, men and women transitional homes, two coffee shops, screen printing, and other forms of ministry to love our neighbors.

About the Role:

BLOC Ministries is looking for an organized Venue Marketing Manager to market the use of the conference room and 2nd floor space to the community by developing relationships with businesses in the area, generate catering opportunities, and help develop, organize, and execute marketing plans.

What you will do:

Gathers and analyzes information for leads on potential partnerships, sponsorships or revenue generating opportunities for the conference room and 2nd floor
Generate referral leads with each new customer
Generate catering events in collaboration with GM and Head Chef (onsite & offsite)
Work with the Executive Director to develop event strategy and objectives
Assist in the communication to staff with the schedule of events
Be onsite and assist with events (Checking groups in, making sure that they have everything they need, and assist with clean up)
Manage the events calendar
Preparation, editing and/or production of presentations of materials to communicate clearly, succinctly and in a creative manner
Event Management - serves as venue liaison and coordinates all aspects of venue arrangements to include meeting room arrangements, audiovisual equipment, and post-event billing.
Negotiates contracts with customers
Maintain social media and communicate with social media oversight company
Responsible for ordering and tracking event inventory
Analyze, track, and report on event ROI based on predetermined revenue and MQL metrics
Responsible for developing and growing brand presence on all social media platforms
Scheduling music and events for Friday and Saturday nights/twice a month
