Come work in a dynamic and engaging environment as a Doorkeeper at Vermont’s State House in Montpelier, Vermont! This role is responsible for assessing and maintaining order while the Vermont General Assembly is in session.
This is an hourly, seasonal position, without benefits. In-person work is required at the State House from January through May 2027. The Doorkeepers work up to 40 hours per week, with the option for part-time opportunities covering either a morning or afternoon shift. This position may require late-night and early-morning coverage, as needed. Required training will take place through November and December 2026, with flexible timing depending on individual needs or schedule. This position requires the successful completion of a pre-employment record check.
