Verti-Crete Fence Crew - Entry Level

Over the past 21 years, CDA has been the first choice in building from the ground up, starting with our employees. 

JOB PURPOSE:

Entry-level laborer for production and installation of our Verti-Crete wall panels and columns

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform production responsibilities at our precast yard to manufacture panels and columns
  
  
  
  • Includes working with wet concrete pour forms
  
  
  
  


• Lift up to 50lbs 


• Assist in loading trucks in a timely manner


• Assist in maintaining inventory 


• Join the field crew as needed to help with  job sites


• Assist wall crew in the installation of wall panels as needed


• Perform manual labor as needed on job site or in production yard


• Safely work with and around heavy equipment 


• Safely move heavy materials around worksites using rigging. 


• Follow and adhere to all safety procedures.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Heavy equipment experience (skid steer, mini excavator, reach lift)


• Previous concrete experience (working with elevation and finishing concrete


• Standard hand tool experience (power drills, skill saws, chain saws, shovels, breaker bars, etc.)


• Ability to accurately read a tape measure to measure distances down to 1/16"


• Ability to work well on a team with a wide range of skills and backgrounds


• Ability to stay on task and organized


• Maintain a professional appearance at all times


• Good work ethic


• CDL preferred - In-house CDL training can be discussed after 90 days of employment based on the employee's overall job performance and the availability of an in-house trainer.
