Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Veterinarian to join the team at our successful clinic. The ideal candidate will be a skilled clinician with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding veterinary care. Responsibilities
Perform physical examinations, diagnostics, and medical procedures on companion animals, including dogs, cats, and exotic pets.
Develop and implement treatment plans for a variety of medical conditions, including but not limited to infectious diseases, dermatological issues, and orthopedic injuries.
Perform routine surgical procedures, such as spays, neuters, and dental extractions, with precision and care.
Provide preventive care services, including vaccinations, parasite control, and wellness exams, to promote the long-term health of our patients.
Educate clients about proper pet care, nutrition, and preventive health measures to empower them to make informed decisions about their pets' well-being.
Collaborate effectively with other members of the veterinary team, including veterinary technicians, assistants, and support staff, to ensure seamless patient care and client satisfaction.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care in compliance with practice protocols and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
Valid state veterinary license in good standing.

Strong surgical skills, including proficiency in routine surgical procedures.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
Commitment to providing compassionate care and building lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities with attention to detail.
Compensation: $120,000.00 per year
The Ridgefield Park Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital that is centrally located on Main Street in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. Less than 3 miles from New York City, Ridgefield Park Animal Hospital serves the greater New Jersey community but our client base reaches out into Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Delaware. Though taking up a relatively small footprint, we boast a large variety of services and facilities not usually found outside of emergency clinics and teaching hospitals. Ridgefield Park Animal Hospital and its staff are equipped to provide your pet with the utmost care, and you with the utmost courtesy and attentiveness.
The Ridgefield Park Animal Hospital is operated and run by two veterinarians, Dr. Paul Kim and Dr. Cathy Chun.
We maintain a staff of exceptionally trained veterinary technicians, assistants, and supporting staff.
