Veterinary Assistant Full-Time
Location: Lebec, CA
Practice: Mountain Aire Veterinary Hospital (Privately Owned)

Join a compassionate, community-focused team where your work makes a daily impact. Mountain Aire Veterinary Hospital is growing and were looking for a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to support our doctors and technicians in providing top-quality care to pets and their families.

What You'll Do

After training, responsibilities include:

• Safely restraining pets during exams and treatments

• Preparing and administering medications

• Maintaining clean, comfortable kennels

• Accurately updating medical records

• Assisting with curbside service and client communications

• Supporting general hospital cleanliness and equipment upkeep

What We're Looking For

• Customer service experience (2+ years preferred)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Able to lift, kneel, stand, and move comfortably during 10-12 hour shifts

• Tech-savvy and quick to learn new software

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask

Schedule

• Full-time, alternative work-week:

  • Mon/Wed/Fri (12-hour shifts)

  • One Saturday per month

  • Will eventually return to 4-day, 10-hour shifts

  • Rotating weekend availability required
