Location: Animal Urgent Care of South Orange County – Mission Viejo, CA
Hours: Full-Time | Swing Shift | Weekends & Holidays Included
Pay: $25–$27/hr + Stackable Shift Differentials 💸

Emergency medicine is fast paced, challenging, and incredibly rewarding, and we’re looking for veterinary assistants who are ready to be part of that. Whether you’re helping with intake, triage, or keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, your work will make a real difference on every shift.

What You’ll Be Doing:
💥 Assisting with ER triage and patient intake
💉 Handling restraint, vitals, IVC setup, and sample collection
🛠 Helping with radiographs, prepping procedures, and tech support
📦 Restocking and keeping our ER floor running smooth
💬 Communicating like a pro—whether it’s with your team or worried pet parents
📝 Updating patient records and charges in Vetspire
⚰️ Helping with aftercare including cremation tags and respectful handling

When You’ll Work:
Our swing shift is typically 4:30 pm–1:00 am, including weekends and holidays.

💲Shift Differentials:

+$3/hr for all hours worked Friday 6pm – Monday 8am
+2/hr Overnight Pay Bump for any hours worked between 10pm – 8am

Who You Are:
✔️ You’ve got 2+ year of vet assistant experience (ER is a plus!)
✔️ You don’t flinch in chaos—you thrive in it
✔️ You multitask like a wizard and know how to stay cool when it counts
✔️ You’re hungry to grow your skills and help patients when they need it most
