What You’ll Do:

• Get hands-on experience in various roles, from sterile resources to patient handling and recovery
• Assist veterinarians with medical treatments, procedures, and patient monitoring
• Provide compassionate, high-quality veterinary nursing care while ensuring a positive client experience
• Develop skills in patient handling, medical terminology, injections, phlebotomy, and more
• Maintain and update patient records with accuracy
• Educate pet guardians on post-care instructions and the importance of preventive health care
• Work collaboratively with a team that values diversity, inclusivity, and mentorship
• Keep work areas safe, clean, and organized while adhering to all safety guidelines

 What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a veterinary assistant is not required, but previous experience in animal handling preferred (dog daycare, grooming, dog training, etc).
• Certification in sterile processing (e.g., CRCST) is a plus but not required
• Part-Time or Full-time hours available
• Passion for veterinary medicine and animal welfare
• Ability to handle animals in a safe, humane, and effective manner
• Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Team player who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute
• Computer literacy and ability to use veterinary software
• College coursework in animal-related sciences is a plus!

Salary & Benefits

The starting salary for this position depends on the depth and breadth of experience. The expected range is $25.00 - $27.00 per hour. Regular, full-time positions are eligible for a benefits package including:
