Why this role
• Weekend-heavy schedule (great if you want weekdays free for family, classes, or a side gig)
• No overnights; urgent care + wellness only
• Supportive team, clear workflows

What you’ll do
• Triage, vitals, low-stress handling, assist exams and treatments
• Client communication, check-in/out, phone support
• Samples, basic diagnostics, injections, meds and vaccine support
• Accurate medical records in the EMR
• Help keep the clinic organized, clean, and safe
• Jump in where needed (front desk, stocking, room turns)
• Occasionally support nearby clinics as staffing needs arise and other duties as assigned

Who you are
• Experienced in veterinary assisting (human healthcare experience also valued)
• Tech-savvy, calm under pressure, team-first communicator
• Comfortable with a fast pace and weekend shifts
• WA Medication Clerk license preferred (we’ll help you obtain it if needed)

Schedule
• Weekend-forward; typical pattern includes Sat/Sun plus one to two weekdays

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.50 per hour

BoosterPet is a tech-forward vet community with two care lanes: LVT/VA-led Wellness Clinics and Urgent Care for those “can’t-wait” moments. Most wellness visits include a live video consult with a veterinarian right in the exam room—telemed is run in-clinic for seamless care.

Where you’ll find us: Renton • Bonney Lake • Puyallup • Federal Way • Lake Stevens Animal Hospital • Kirkland • Gig Harbor.

How we work: Wellness clinics are completed by our talented Licensed Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants (VAs), with doctor support via in-clinic telemedicine; Kirkland and Minter (Gig Harbor) operate in-clinic only at this time.

We’re hiring part-time and full-time Veterinarians and Licensed Veterinary Technicians who love smart tools, teamwork, and accessible care.
