The Business Development Leader (Manager, Director or Vice President) plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of VetEvolve through identifying, cultivating and managing relationships with potential partner practices.

Responsibilities
Relationship Building:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with veterinary hospital owners and key decision-makers. Understand their needs, concerns, and goals to effectively communicate the benefits of partnering with VetEvolve.

Market Research:

Collaborate with team to conduct market research to identify potential acquisition targets. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.

Lead Generation: Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including networking events, industry conferences, collaborating on digital marketing efforts,

Sales Process Management:

Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact and relationship building to negotiation and closing. Ensure a smooth transition and integration for acquired practices.

Deep understanding of Value Proposition:

Clearly articulate and present VetEvolve's value proposition to potential partners and tailor the proposition to address the specific needs and concerns of each potential partner, where possible.

Presentation and Communication:

Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective partners.

Collaboration: Work closely with Lead Generation Specialists, Integrations team and other internal team members to ensure seamless execution of partnerships. Provide input and support during due diligence and integration processes.

Reporting: Track and report on key performance metrics, including lead generation, pipeline activity, and acquisition success rates. Provide regular updates to the Executive Leadership team.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, Marketing or a related field. MBA preferred.

Proven experience in business development, sales, or relationship management within the veterinary industry.

Strong understanding and appreciation of the veterinary industry.

Demonstrated ability to manage complex negotiations and close partnerships.

Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with CRM software.

Travel
Frequent (up to 75%)
