Keystone Veterinary Emergency and Referral is a dedicated emergency pet hospital providing dependable hours and personalized care to pets in our community. Keystone Veterinary Emergency and Referral is looking for a Client Service Coordinator to join us as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.
As a client service coordinator you’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.
Role Responsibilities:
 
The CSR is responsible for delivering exceptional client service by: 
  • Managing multi-line phone systems and triaging emergency calls 
  • Scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate client/patient records 
  • Greeting clients, handling admit/discharge documents, and processing payments 
  • Facilitating communication between clients and the veterinary team
  • Provide empathetic, solution-focused communication during emotional or high-stress situations 
  • Promote hospital services and educate clients on preventive care 
  • Ensure the lobby and client areas remain clean, stocked, and welcoming 
  • Handle financial transactions, end-of-day reports, and maintain accurate records

Role Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and multitasking skills 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and professional 
  • Comfortable with handling animals, unpleasant odors, and medical emergencies 
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for long shifts 
  • Prior experience in veterinary, medical, or client service settings preferred 
  • Require open availability for scheduling. This roll requires some evening, weekend, and holiday hours.
