Job Overview

Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and organized Client Services Assistant to join our growing field service department! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love helping horses and their owners, you may be a great fit for our team.

As a Client Services Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our field service team. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our clients, handling a high volume of calls, texts, and emails with professionalism and a commitment to exceptional service. This position requires strong administrative skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. You will report directly to the Hospital Administrator.

What You'll Do:

• Answer phones and respond to client calls for scheduling, records requests, appointment confirmations, etc. 
• Support our doctors by maintaining schedules and efficiently rescheduling appointments as needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Maintain accurate patient and client records within our practice management software.
• Process invoices and collect payments and deposits.
• Work on special projects and other duties as assigned to support the team.

Our Ideal Candidate will bring:

• Basic horse knowledge or experience with equine clients (Required).
• Proven administrative support experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and text.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage high call volumes and frequent client contact.
• Proficiency in data entry and general computer skills.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to teamwork.

Requirements

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D., preferred
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
• General horse knowledge, required
• Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and planning skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, preferred

Special Factors Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays required.
