Veterinary Clinic Assistant (Temporary Position)**
Are you skilled in animal handling and dedicated to maintaining a clean and organized environment? Our busy veterinary clinic is seeking a Veterinary Clinic Assistant for a temporary position lasting at least four months, with the possibility of extending up to six months, to cover the upcoming summer months.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Assist veterinarians in restraining patients during exams and treatments.
- Cleaning and Sanitization: Maintain clinic cleanliness by regularly sanitizing examination rooms, equipment, and common areas.
- Medication Management: Prepare and fill prescriptions as directed by veterinarians.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and organize inventory storage.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in veterinary clinics or animal care settings preferred.
- Proficient in safe and effective animal handling.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on efficiency.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
