Receptionist (Pay based on experience $16 to $21)

Fast paced veterinary practice seeking a friendly and outgoing receptionist with a flexible schedule. We are looking to bring someone on to our team with prior Veterinary experience and looking to grow within our company.

Tasks include:

Checking/Checking out clients

Answering phones

Reviewing prescription requests

Going over surgical discharges

Offering Wellness Plans and Trupanion Insurance Exam Day offers

Creating charts for appointments and drop-offs

Prioritizing appointment requests and client concerns based on patient condition

Follow up calls from prior day appointments

Calling clients back with answers from our doctors

Discussing lab results depending on the severity of the case

Qualifications

Proven veterinary experience, particularly in a front desk role

Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal care practices

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Familiarity with medical collection processes and pet care

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Compensation: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
