Job Description - Veterinary Kennel Technician

Available Work Hours

Mon - Fri 8:00am -12:30pm, break for lunch, 2:30pm - 5:30pm,

Sat 8:30am - 12:00pm, break, 4:00pm-6:00pm

Sun 8:30am - 10:30am, break, 4:00pm - 6:00pm

Requirements

- Punctuality and Dependability

- Ability to follow protocols for safety

- Able to lift 50 pounds safely

Duties

- Checking patients in and out from boarding stays, communicating with clients with proficiency and professionalism.

- Maintaining/Cleaning kennel and hospital runs and cages

- Documenting health assessments on daily observation logs

- Feeding and walking patients and boarders

- Medicating patients and boarders

- Restocking Clinic

- Maintaining boarding yards

Compensation: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour

In fact, unlike other veterinary hospitals in the Tarpon Springs area, Dr. Ivey lives on-site, which allows her to provide more frequent and immediate overnight care to patients.
