About the Role:
As our Veterinary Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets. Your role is essential in making every visit feel personal, professional, and stress-free. You’ll help guide clients with empathy, provide accurate information, and keep our front and exam areas tidy and organized.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and patients with a warm, friendly demeanor
- Answer multi-line phones, respond to inquiries, and route calls appropriately
- Schedule and confirm appointments with attention to detail
- Provide general information regarding services and pet care
- Ensure a personable and positive experience for every client
- Maintain cleanliness and stock levels in the reception and exam room areas
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure smooth patient flow
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary setting is required. No Veterinary experience candidates will not be considered.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable handling pets and working in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and a true team player
- Ability to multitask while staying calm and professional\
Bilingual (Spanish) candidates are a plus!
- Reception position only, Availability to cross train as an assistant/technician is not applicable at this time
