Rocklin Ranch Veterinary Hospital is looking to add experienced RVT's, Veterinary Assistants and CSR's to our team. Several positions include weekends.

We are laid back group that enjoys a good laugh but knows how to get the job done. If you think you might be a good fit, we want to meet you!

Technicians and Assistants must possess excellent customer service and computer skills as well as technical skills.

Veterinary Assistants should be proficient at:

- IVC placement

- Monitor anesthetized patients

- Monitor and recover surgical patients

- Ability to take diagnostic radiographs

- Run in house lab work

- Knowledge of Vaccination protocols and flea/tick/heartworm prevention

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

Experience in advanced patient care is a must.

Registered Veterinary Technician should be proficient at:

- IVC placement

- Anesthesia induction/intubation

- Anesthesia monitoring and recovery

- Dental experience is preferred but not required

- Willingness to learn dentistry and surgical extractions

- Drug calculations

- Produce diagnostic radiographs

- Run in house lab work

- Knowledge of Vaccination protocols and flea/tick/heartworm prevention

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

Receptionists must possess excellent communication and customer service skills, good computer skills, and the ability to multitask. Ability to use email/fax and multi-line telephone as well as handle money and make change is a must.

It is the goal of our Receptionists to work with teammates to provide each client with the best customer service experience of their day. This is accomplished during client curbside check-in/check-out, scheduling, answering telephones, making educated recommendations according to hospital protocol, as well as reading and understanding medical records.

Requirements

A valid RVT License is required for RVT position.
