Vice President

Status: Full-Time Salary                               FLSA Classification: Exempt

Salary: $71,034 - $103,000

Summary of Position: The Vice President is responsible for the overall development and administration of the programs in the Southeast Region including Coverage area -Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Viriginia, Maryland, and District of Columbia (DC). This includes the provision of participant services, personnel management, and budget management.  The Vice-President is responsible for the continued development of the agency, quality, quality improvement, and to carry-out the mission of Youth Advocate Programs, Inc.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Master’s degree preferred.


• Strong leadership skills with proven experience in the management and motivation of staff.


• Commensurate experience in community-based agency programs such as advocate services, community reintegration/re-entry, and alternative to detention/aftercare knowledge.


• Preferred experience in a senior leadership role, overseeing and managing budgets, financials, and operational outcomes over multiple programs and regions. 


• Experience working with state agencies, county governments, managed care, school districts, and other funding and referral sources is preferred.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other database software systems; Knowledge of an Electronic Health Record System (EHR) is a plus. 


• Position requires reliable, insured transportation, current auto insurance coverage, and valid driver's license.


• Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) speaking is a plus. 


• TRAVEL REQUIRED; Position is based in the Southeast Region. Will be required to travel through assigned area.
