About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Account Management to lead a high-performing team and drive the growth of renewable ARR, client retention, and expansion efforts. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the company's products meet the needs of its clients both now and in the future. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day team management, revenue forecasting, and will work closely with internal stakeholders to influence product development based on customer feedback. The VP will also be expected to step in and close individual business deals, demonstrate exceptional emotional intelligence, and foster a diverse and inclusive team environment.To be successful in this position, candidates should have 2-5 years of experience managing a growing account management or client success department within a SaaS start-up, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue goals and managing enterprise renewals. The role requires the ability to coach and manage teams against cross-sell and upsell targets, as well as experience in managing metrics and KPIs related to account health and client service. The ideal candidate will be adept at forecasting revenue and have strong analytical skills, with hands-on experience in CRM and sales tools. They should also have a history of implementing playbooks and coaching on process implementation in a fast-paced startup environment.
