About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Administrative Services to serve as the chief fiscal officer for the campus, with oversight of a significant budget. The role involves providing leadership and vision in all aspects of financial resource management, aligning with the institution's mission, vision, and goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for budget development, fiscal services, human resources, facilities, and related college programs, and will represent the college in various financial and budget committees. Additionally, the role includes supervising key personnel, developing revenue generation plans, and ensuring the enforcement of safety measures. The Vice President will also be expected to support the college's diversity and equal opportunity plan and promote innovation and staff development in the administrative services.Applicants for the Vice President of Administrative Services position at the company must have a Master's degree, preferably in business administration or a related field, and a minimum of two years of significant experience in managing financial matters and budgeting for a complex organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of finance and accounting practices, with a focus on college resource management, and be familiar with relevant laws and regulations. Skills in leadership, management, communication, and the ability to work in a diverse academic community are essential. While not required, three to five years of progressively responsible financial leadership in the public sector, particularly in education, is preferred, as well as additional administrative experience in areas such as human resources, enterprise programs, or facilities management.
