About the Role
The Company is in search of a dynamic and driven Area Vice President to lead a specialized GTM team of Security Sales Specialists. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the strategy, operating model, and execution of the company's industry-leading Cybersecurity solutions. This role involves building, coaching, and leading a team that will drive exponential growth in specialized product suites, including DDoS, AppSec, or DataSec. The VP will also be tasked with inspiring the team to act as product specialized evangelists, fostering a culture of teaming, and providing support and guidance in the development of sales strategies. Additionally, the role includes overseeing seamless account management, serving as a point of escalation for customer issues, and maintaining strong relationships with key client decision-makers.Qualified applicants for this role should have 7-10 years' of high-level direct selling experience, ideally within Security Technology-Web Application, Database Security, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue quotas. The ideal candidate will be perseverant, curious, and passionate about technology, innovation, and cybersecurity. Experience with SFDC and highly developed communication skills are essential. The role requires an individual who is adept at understanding the audience and can apply this skill to create alignment and contribute to product design and Go To Market processes. The VP will be expected to be a leader who can collect and channel feedback to drive continuous improvement and who can foster a culture of teaming, including regular dialogue and partnership with key GTM partners.
