The Vice President of Operations, Anesthesiology, supports and promotes ProMedica’s vision and mission. This position works in a matrixed environment, collaborating for business development. Is responsible for the operation and growth of the Anesthesiology function, to support the Surgery business line across the System. Monitors key performance indicators to drive strategic plans. Responsible for fostering a positive provider/administration relationship while collaborating with Providers to maximize operational potential and achieve strategic goals.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or health care operations
Skills: Strong business acumen with demonstrated leadership experience in physician/provider relationship management, operations, and finance. Demonstrated sensitivity to physician / C suite issues and effective relationship development and problem-solving abilities. Effective organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated experience in anesthesiology operations, including managing both internal and external locum tenens workforce, CRNA and Physicians. In-depth knowledge of the regulatory environment impacting multi-specialty physician networks, with proven ability to establish and operate anesthesia control rooms and drive anesthesia-related efficiencies.
Years of Experience: at least 7 years of management experience or an equivalent combination of healthcare and managerial experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Master’s Degree in Business or related field; M.D.; masters or doctoral degree in nursing
Skills: Experience with Anesthesiology operations; knowledge of regulatory environment as it relates to multi-specialty physician network
Years of Experience: at least five years in the Healthcare industry.
