About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Asset Allocation and ALM Reporting to lead the Liability Driven Investment process and ensure compliance with ALM Risk Policy. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maturing Strategic Asset Allocation and ALM frameworks, proposing SAA and ALM strategies, and effectively communicating material ALM issues to executive management, the Board of Directors, and other stakeholders. This role requires a graduate or MBA degree in finance, economics, or math, with additional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, PRM, or a specialized degree in financial engineering preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in life insurance, investment, or risk management, and at least 10 years of senior executive experience in a related field.Key responsibilities for this position include leading monthly asset allocation meetings, monitoring ALM positions across various entities and portfolios, and ensuring that ALM risk is in line with the company's risk appetite. The Vice President will also collaborate with the company's partners on hedging strategies, oversee plan, pricing, and portfolio manager mandates, and champion collaboration on capital markets assumptions. The role demands a professional with strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as a proven ability to manage stakeholders effectively and contribute to a team environment. The candidate should demonstrate sound business judgment, leadership, and management skills, and have a collaborative style that fosters success within the organization.
