About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Business Continuity Officer to lead its enterprise-wide contingency planning and business continuity efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a comprehensive framework and methodology for contingency plans, coordinating training and testing of these plans, and serving as the subject matter expert on business continuity risk management. Key responsibilities include overseeing the business continuity program to ensure it meets regulatory requirements, providing leadership support during crisis events, and liaising with IT and third-party risk management for disaster recovery and resiliency.Applicants must have a 4-year college degree in business, IT, or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years in business continuity, crisis management, disaster recovery, or a related field, and a minimum of 3 years in a role with risk management experience related to information technology. Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to think strategically and drive tactical execution. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the financial services or banking industry, as well as previous interaction with auditors and regulators, is preferred.
