Accountable for quality, program and service line growth and development, service and physician deployment, integration and consistency, clinical strategy to inform operational budgeting and capital allocation, and access of services for designated geographical area. This role works with the service line leaders, clinical council, Sutter Health leaders, and medical staff to drive quality and service line development initiatives across the system. Maintains operational responsibility for specific departments/services at each facility including responsibilities and matrix operating responsibilities. This role partners with the service line leader to build and manage the activities and resources of assigned departments. Ensures coordinated and harmonious working relationships within and among assigned departments, other hospital departments, the medical foundation, hospitals, medical staff, and the public. This role will have indirect oversight over foundation and hospital-based service line leaders. Through this dotted line reporting relationship, will ensure the implementation of the strategic direction for the service line and will drive the execution of their primary responsibilities. Lastly, this role will be responsible for maintaining the appropriate alignment with key Sutter Health system-wide initiatives and service line colleagues, ensuring that activities within the system, operating unit, and division strategy are integrated within ambulatory and acute resources.Job Description:

Pay Range is $260,312.00 to $416,520.00 / annual salaryThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
